COPD, what will 02 saturation be at sea level? - copd oxygen saturation

My husband has COPD. The O2 saturation is 87% - 89% during the night without his oxygen. live in Colorado (alt 5000 m). we go to sea must then sleep with oxygen? I'm looking for people who have COPD, and is already changing experiences in height.

Hi, In Denver my sats without O2 while lying down can range around 89%, but lower if asleep, I am on O2 24/7. A trip to Florida and my sats with VERY slow walking was upwards to 98%. The minute I walked faster-on the beach or sidewalk I still required my oxygen around 3-4 for similar walk speeds in Denver I would require 8+ liters. Everyone reacts differently, so my experience may be way different from your husbands. Lyn-
